For all of you who are sending healing, prayers and energy to Maddie, here is an update:
Maddie almost died this morning at 8am. What I am going to report literally cropped up over the weekend- there were absolutely no signs whatsoever of this prior to her rush to the E.R..
She became lethargic on Sunday and her father (who had her for the weekend) got concerned. They could only get a couple of words out of her and then she stopped talking. By the time he got her to the E.R. and could call her mom to come, Maddie was completely unresponsive.
She has tumors on her brain and in her chest. Her white blood cell count (normal is 10k) is at 900,000. Her entire body is swollen. Her kidneys are not getting signals from the brain and are not filtering urine- it is literally going straight into the bag. The doctors want to attempt chemo on her chest, but have to check her liver first. They don't know what to do about the tumors on her brain as this will interfere with her CNS (Central Nervous System). The tumors were the size of a quarter yesterday and are now three times that size.
I believe strongly that healers can create a miracle. Between the doctors at U of M and all of us, we can kick this thing out of her system and heal her body. I will continue to have that hope until there is none to be had. I ask the same of all of you.
