It's been a crazy week for me. I've attended 3 of 4 classes (tomorrow is my first English class), and the homework has been a bit overwhelming. I'm determined to do this, but wow, I had forgotten just how much time it takes to really study and grasp the concepts that are required for the objectives!
Also, my schedule is such that I only attend each class once per week, so it's cramming two classes into one, which also doubles the homework. So, owning 2013 means really concentrating and putting my main focus on study over everything else.
In that vein, I tendered my resignation today with Pagan Writer's Press. Given the obligations of school and job-hunting right now, I just don't believe I can devote the time I would need to give it the best of my ability. I do wish all the writers, editors and publishers the very best in their endeavors. I just know my limitations and capabilities, and this is for the best.
For those who've asked me for an update, so far, I'm liking all of my classes. Geography is online, but it's very interactive and I like that. My History and Psychology professors are both very nice and engaging. The material is interesting, and I think as long as I stay on top of the work, I'll be fine.
As I said, English is tomorrow.. since that's my major, I'm interested to see how it goes over all the others.
Don't forget: Deadline for The Sunday Stew submissions is tomorrow by noon Eastern time.
I want to also take a moment to wish all of you a very Happy Brighid's Day/Imbolc! Blessings for the return of the Spring! I can't wait to start planting.
