Hi there lovely blog readers!So, remember how on Monday I was musing about the job and doing what's right for me, and all that? Well, the Universe decided to take me up on my offer and I was let go yesterday. It was a bit of a shock, even if not surprising, but every single moment I'm feeling the poison of that toxic environment leaving my system. I'm excited to see where this new adventure is going to take me, and I've had so much support from so many (now) former co-workers, friends and family.. I can't tell you how much that means to me.
But, I've been using a company-owned laptop for awhile now, and it's time to send it back to its home where someone new will have a chance to benefit from it, and until I can go get one of my own (pretty excited about that, actually), I'll be offline.
That MAY mean no Sunday Stew this weekend. It may not. I won't know until the weekend. But, if you don't hear from me, just know that I'll be back.. free and happy again.
Many of you have messaged and asked me what you can do. I would ask that you send positive, happy, healthy thoughts out my way for obtaining a new job quickly and one that helps me help the rest of the world... I really do want to make a difference.
